Tournament Tales
Ginny Giuliani sank a 4-foot putt on the final hole to edge Gloria Viano for top honors during the inaugural 10 Woman Shootout at the Ballamor Golf Club on May 11. Ann McCabe placed third.
Holes in one
Chris C. Giles of Delran used a 9-iron on the par-3, 128-yard fifth hole at the Westwood Golf Club on May 22nd.
Richard Green Jr. of Mullica Hill used a 9-iron on the par-3, 125-yard 14th hole at the Pitman Golf Club on May 16th.
Joe Alexander of Laurel Springs used a 5-wood on the par-3, 210-yard ninth hole at the Westwood Golf Club on May 16th.
Ray Campbell used a 6-iron on the par-3, 136 yard eigth hole at the Maple Ridge Golf Club on April 18th.
Tom Holland used a 4-iron on the par-3, 154 yard 18th hole at the Maple Ridge Golf Club on April 17th.
