Tournament Tales
The team of John Aloiso, Mike Marsh, John Bougault and Aaron Riley carded a 58 for top honors during the White Oaks Country Club 2002 Season Kickoff tournament on April 20. Jay Ewan, Scott Ewan, Ed Walton and John Cobb posted a 60 for second, followed by Mike Bergen, Jerry Ortholf, Brian Halsey and Rick Nowell with a 62.
Holes in one
Tony Brocchi of Marlton used a pitching wedge on the par-3, 130-yard 13th hole at Indian Spring on April 18.
Erik C. Plum of Woodbury used a pitching wedge on the par-3, 128-yard 5th hole at the Westwood Golf Club on April 21.
Mark Cooper of Cherry Hill used a 5-iron on the par-3, 174-yard 16th hole at Indian Spring.
