Tournament Tales
The Blue Heron Pines team of Fred Reidel, Harry Ginther, Tom O'Neill, Jim Ozzimo and Tony White carded a 32-under-
par 114 to take top honors on the West Course during the Philadelphia Section PGA Make a Wish Pro-Am at the Blue Heron Golf Club East and West Courses on April 22.
The North Hills Country Club (Glenside, Pa.) team of Ron Rolfe, Chet Gratkoski, Jeff Edwards, Dan Craige and Bob Crawford posted a 25-under 117 for top honors on the East Course.
Sand Barrens Golf Club PGA professional John Appleget carded a 1-under-par 70 for low overall score on the West Course. George Frake of the Little Mill Country Club posted a 2-under-par 69 for low PGA pro on the East Course. Don Haskell of the Medford Lakes Country Club scored a 73 for low individual in the senior competition.
Carol Kane, Nancy Mukai and Carolyn Guhr teamed to win the Buena Vista Women's Golf Association Opening Day Scramble at the Buena Vista Country Club on April 2. Marion Abrehamsen carded a 31 for first place during the Buena Vista Women's Golf Association Blind 9 Tournament on April 9. Jan MacAvoy (34) edged Aline Lelli on a match of cards for second place.

Paul Romaine used a 7-wood on the par-3, 134-yard 8th hole at the White Oaks Country Club on April 16.
